Day 1: Arrival
in Manila International airport,
transfer to the hotel in a private
car. Later in the day you are
picked up from the hotels to
visit the famous malls in Manila.
Day 2: Check
out of the hotel and depart
to Banue. The gateway to Banaue
is through the land locked evergreen
provinces of Nueva Ecija and
Nueva Vizcaya. Countryside settings
such as rice fields surrounding
the small towns and villages
are common sights showing simplicity
of living. In San Jose City,
a short stop for lunch (direct
account). Resume drive to Banaue,
stop at Dalton Pass, a historical
landmark, then on to Bagabag
where picturesque mountains
and rivers start to ascend to
the Ifugao land.
Day 3: On
board a private local jeepney,
tour Banga-an, a traditional
village nestled in a panoramic
valley of terraces. The 20-minute
walk in a descending trail permits
a closer look of the Ifugao
world. Mingle with the friendly
natives and experience how daily
life goes on. Move on to take
a stop at the vantage point
to view the Rice Terraces reputed
as the "8th Wonder of the
World" built over 2,000
years ago
Day 4: Visit
the town of Sagada to see their
ancient burial caves and mummified
coffins. In Bontoc, visit a
museum founded by a Belgian
Sister, which houses a varied
collection of authentic artifacts
and photos from the mountain
tribes. Before retiring, watch
a show to be performed by the
tribes as they interpret through
songs and dances their customs
& traditions such as courtship
and war dance which up to now
some are still being practiced.
Day 5: Check
out of the hotel and depart
to Manila. On arrival transfer
to the hotel and later sightseeing
tour of Manila: Have a glance
of the rich cultural and historical
contrast of the Old and New
Manila. Visit Rizal Park, the
walled city of Intramuros and
tour Fort Santiago. Proceed
to San Agustin church, then
to Makati the financial and
commercial. Drive through the
reclaimed area where the Cultural
Center of the Philippines
Day 6: Check
out of the hotel and transfer
to the airport for your flight
back home
