Off the beaten path

1. Explore the old Quarter in Hanoi, with more than a thousand years of history, is Vietnam's most lively and unusual place. There are about 36 streets in the Old Quarter.
   
   
2. Visit the Geological museum in Hanoi.



3. Drink Snake wine, There are a plenty of shops selling snake wine and other locally produced potions & lotions... one wonders how they get those reptiles in there to begin with.



4. Visit the General Post office in Ho Chi Minh City .It was built from 1886 to 1891 by Gustave Eiffel. The architecture style is french colonial.



5. Spend an evening at Ho Chi Minh City’s China Town Here you will find derelict shells of old French style houses that are still surrounding the market building.
