Day 1:
Arrival-Johannesburg-Cape Town
On arrival at Johannesburg International
Airport, transfer for your domestic
flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival
in the afternoon, meet your
guide and transfer in your car/van
to the hotel in Cape Town. After
checking into your hotel and
some time for leisure, depart
to the West Coast Ostrich Ranch.
For many years the West Coast
Ostrich Show Ranch has been
offering a unique experience
to visitors of the Western Cape.
Situated only twenty minutes
from Cape Town's Waterfront,
the Kanigowski family have built
up a very popular tourist destination
encompassing informative tours
with a high quality, great value
leather and curio shops and
an ostrich meat orientated restaurant.
The tour comprises of a forty-five
minute informative trail, including
a display room, the Leather
Factory, West coast white ostriches,
dwarf ostriches, black neck
ostriches, emus, rheas, peacocks,
ostrich chicks, incubator, cactus
garden, spectacular views of
Table Mountain and the surrounding
countryside. The highlight of
the trail is the ostrich show,
where each member of the tour
has the opportunity to sit on
a live ostrich, with Table Mountain
as a backdrop. Then see and
enjoy stunning views from the
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Situated between Table Mountain
& Robben Island in the heart
of a working harbour, the V&A
is Africa's most visited destination;
it is home to waterfront walkways,
refurbished historical buildings,
museums, boat trips, craft markets,
shops, hotels, bars, cinemas,
upmarket craft markets and the
Two Oceans Aquarium. Back to
your hotel in the late evening.

Day 2: Cape Town-Table
Mountain
After breakfast leave on a half-day
Mother City tour. You will go
for a scenic coastal drive through
Clifton & Sea Point &
later tour passes the Houses
of Parliament, the Castle, the
SA Museum, and a few other historical
sights – District Six,
Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge & ending
at the bustling Greenmarket
Square. A cable car ride, takes
you up the Table Mountain (weather
permitting otherwise Signal
Hill) for a breathtaking view
over the city (entrance is included)
Return to your hotel. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel in
Cape Town.
Day 3: Cape Town-Cape
Peninsula-Hout Bay-Cape of Good
Hope-Simon’s Town
This comprehensive tour shows
you the best of the spectacular
Cape Peninsula and why it is
called the Fairest Cape. Travel
past Sea Point and Camps Bay,
past the famous beaches of Clifton
and Llandudno towards Hout Bay.
Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard.
Pass through Noordhoek and Scarborough.
Later you will take to the Cape
of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
Enjoy the funicular ride aboard
the “Flying Dutchman”
and enjoy the unforgettable
spectacular views. Later get
the photo opportunity to take
some pictures at the second
southern -most tip of the African
continent. Visit the beautiful
Boulders Beach, and have the
option to sit among the famous
colony of Jackass Penguins.
Thereafter we enjoy a short
stop at the naval port of Simon's
Town and know about the legend
of “Able Seaman Just Nuisance”
the Great Dane Dog that was
inducted in Royal Navy. Return
to the hotel. Dinner and overnight
at the hotel in Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Town-Johannesburg-Sun
City
Leave Cape Town in the morning
for your flight back to Johannesburg.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg,
transfer to the Sun City which
is around a two hour drive from
Johannesburg. Sun City is a
complete leisure resort with
magnificent hotels, dazzling
shows, nightlife and a fabulous
casino. Enjoy the day off to
explore the vast complex of
Sun City. You will be amazed
at this oasis in the desert,
with a man-made sea, complete
with waves and beaches. Enjoy
wind surfing or go swimming
at the Valley of the Waves or
relax at the Water World. Take
a walk over the Bridge of Time
into the Entertainment Centre
where fantasies really come
true. Take a helicopter ride
over Sun City at an additional
cost and see the marvels of
this man-made wonder from the
sky. In the evening, see the
Palace of the Lost City and
surrounding gardens. There are
spectacular elephant sculptures
inside the Palace of the Lost
City Hotel in the courtyard
leading to the Valley of the
Waves. Also, you could pay a
visit to the casino or soak
in the splendour of this splendid
resort city. Alternatively,

at the hotel in Sun City.
Day 5: Sun City-Pilanesberg
Game Reserve
Early in the morning, leave
the Sun City for a game drive
in Pilanesberg Game Reserve
which is situated very close
to the Sun City. On your game
drive, you have a chance to
spot the big five and a variety
of other wildlife here. You
will also have the option of
an additional hot air balloon
safari (at extra cost to be
booked and paid in advance).
See early presence of man in
Stone and Iron Age sites. Also
witness spectacular landscape
with rocky outcrops and grasslands.
In the late afternoon, leave
the reserve and drive back to
the Sun City for further leisure
activities in the evening. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel in
Sun City.
Day 6: Sun City-Kruger
National Park
Wake up early in the morning
and set off on the long but
picturesque and lovely 7-hour
drive passing through the towns
of Witbank and Nelspruit en
route to the internationally
acclaimed Kruger National Park.
The afternoon is devoted to
a first safari accompanied by
your experienced guide. The
Kruger National Park is home
to an abundance of different
mammal, bird and plant species
and can truly be regarded as
one of the world's foremost
conservation areas. The focus
is on interpretive game viewing
with the knowledge and experience
of your guide sure to enhance
the safari experience. Head
back to your lodge in the park.
Dinner and overnight at the
lodge in Kruger.
Day 7: Kruger National
Park
The morning is devoted to a
safari in an area of the Southern
Kruger National Park. The different
ecological areas, ranging from
river brush to open savannah
support an abundance of wildlife.
The habits and feeding requirements
of the different species vary
and as a result the likelihood
of encounters are influenced
by the vegetation available
in the area. Sightings of the
large game, most notably the
Big Five is sure to be an experience
not to be forgotten. The lion,
buffalo, elephant, leopard and
rhino are amongst the world’s
most graceful and imposing mammals
and the two million hectare
Kruger National Park is a refuge
where these magnificent creatures
can still roam free untouched
by time and humanity. During
the late afternoon, embark on
a night drive accompanied by
a Kruger Park Ranger. After
sundown overlooking the African
bush the safari focuses on viewing
the nocturnal animals as they
go about their daily lives.
The small cat species and potential
sightings of the Lion and Leopard
as they ready themselves for
the hunt are sure to be amongst
the highlights. Dinner and overnight
at the lodge in Kruger.
Day 8: Kruger National
Park-Pretoria-Johannesburg
A last morning game drive in
this wilderness area is followed
by breakfast and some time for
relaxation. Then, embark on
the long but scenic return journey
to Johannesburg via the national
highway. En route, enjoy a brief
tour of Pretoria. Upon arrival
in Johannesburg in the late
evening, you have the option
of taking the short drive to
the Johannesburg Civic Theatre
for a show to get deeper into
African culture and appreciate
the performing arts. Dinner
and overnight at your hotel
in Johannesburg.
Day 9: Johannesburg-Sterkfontein
Caves-Cradle of Mankind-Lesedi
After breakfast in the morning,
visit the Apartheid Museum in
Johannesburg. The Apartheid
Museum is fascinating as it
gives a historical and political
accounting of what apartheid
is; why it was created and finally
how and why the apartheid laws
have been dissolved. Then leave
for the Sterkfontein Caves.
The Sterkfontein Caves are made
of limestone and are one of
the richest and most productive
paleo-anthropological sites
in the world and form part of
the Cradle of Humankind World
Heritage Site. The Sterkfontein
Caves is now home to a top restaurant,
conferencing facilities, improved
access into the caves, new walkways
and a boardwalk past the excavation
site where world-acclaimed fossils
have been discovered. Also get
to see the other sites in the
Cradle of Humankind, including
Swartkrans, Minnaars, Plover’s
Lake, Wondercave and Kromdraai.
You will also go on a tour of
Lesedi Culture Village to live
the experience of the vibrant
and colourful traditions of
the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi,
Xhosa and Zulu people. See the
Lesedi tribal dancers and enjoy
a pan African feast with delicacies
from northern, eastern and southern
Africa. Drive back to Johannesburg.
Overnight at the hotel in Johannesburg.
Day 10: Johannesburg-Magaliesberg
Meander
Today, after breakfast, you
will be transferred to the Magaliesberg
Meander. The Magaliesberg Mountain
Range on the Northern side of
Johannesburg has developed as
a fascinating mix of recreation,
nature conservation and urban
development. Picturesque Hartebeespoort
Dam, sprawling curio markets,
lots of restaurants and the
opportunity of close interaction
with wildlife make this area
a unique destination. First
up, take the “Elephant
Sanctuary” tour. The area
is surrounded by natural indigenous
bush and is home to impala,
klipspringer, baboons, porcupine,
caracal, leopard, a host of
other small mammals, 350 bird
species and, of course, four
magnificent African Elephants
which you will see on the sanctuary
tour. Then after lunch, go on
the De Wildt Cheetah tour. The
non profit organisation of De
Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre
is found at the foot of the
Magaliesberg. The King Cheetah
was first bred here and the
centre is renowned for its success
in breeding rare and endangered
species. Then drive back to
Johannesburg via Hartebeespoort
Dam in the village of Hartebeespoort.
The village of Hartebeespoort
is situated along the shores
of the dam among undulating
hills and panoramic views on
the dam and the majestic Magaliesberg
Mountains. Enjoy the tranquillity
of the hills, valleys and the
scenic drives. Dinner and overnight
at the hotel in Johannesburg.

Day 11: Johannesburg-Departure
After breakfast, you will be
escorted to the Johannesburg
airport for your flight back
home.
